Limited edition gold compact to commemorate the Year of the Dragon.  It is also inscribed with the Chinese characters for Happy New Year.

I don’t know. I do not have any Chinese ancestry, so I’m not sure if this would be a cool cultural thing, or a cultural misappropriation thing.  I’m leaning toward misappropriation?

Although I do know that it is not the year of the Golden Dragon, so I’m not sure why the compact is gold. It’s a water dragon year, so silver probably would have been better.

Even though the colors might be very pretty (which they are) I am someone who does not appreciate graffiti as art and would never pay my hard-earned money for something with graffiti on it, whether it was supposed to be some sort of “edgy” homage or not.

The top layer is comprised of four eyeshadows, and the bottom layer contains two blushes.

There is a whole graffiti collection, including makeup bag, a brush set, and some perfume, but I’ll be sitting this one out.
