Monday Beauty Poll

By Glinda

I’m less of a person than I was a week ago (har, that’s surgical humor right there) but I’m back and hopefully better than ever.  Not having cancer=very good thing!  Now I can focus on the important things in life, like the reintroduction of cult fave Clinique’s Black Honey Almost Lipstick.

Viola Davis beat Zoe Saldana in the fab-off by an embarassingly large margin.  You go, Viola!

And you know, I had a very hard time finding someone that looked truly awesome from the Grammys last night, but here are my top two picks.

Yay! I’m happy for you and wish you a million wonderful things to go with your clean bill of health.

Oh, yes, Adele always looks great (ladylike and polished in an old school way) and Kelly looks pretty–I love her hair worn that way. I didn’t want the awards, but it’s always fun to check out the “gowns” with my morning coffee the day after.

  2. Aurumgirl Says:

Bah! I meant to type “I didn’t watch the awards”, not “I didn’t want the awards”. Going to get more coffee now.

  3. Klee Says:

Adele looked flawless and the cool nails put a little edge.

Hope you are on the way to full recovery!

  4. wildflower Says:

Best wishes to you! I’m sure glad you are feeling better!

As do those two photos, I think both dresses are lovely, but their pancake makeup looks pretty bad. :P

  5. dgm Says:

Adele is lovely, but her makeup, not so much. I’m lovin’ Kelly Rowland’s dress. If only I had somewhere to wear it (and the money to buy it!)

  6. SarahDances Says:

I like Adele’s look, but she looks so old! Girlfriend is only 23! I’m all for classy/classic, but maybe something a little more youthful?
