Monday Beauty Poll
By GlindaDue to the Golden Globes coverage, last week’s poll went on brief hiatus. But it’s baaa-aack!
I wanted to know how important it was to you that your beauty products contain natural/organic ingredients, and 60% said that it was a nice bonus, but not essential. 21% of you don’t really care one way or the other, and 18% view it as very important. For me, it’s fine if the product happens to contain natural/organic stuff, but it’s not something I actively seek out in products. If it works well, it seems I don’t care what’s in it as long as it delivers the results I’m looking for.
Today’s poll is one of those “if you were stranded on a desert island” kind of questions… Although I’m not going to include soap as a choice because I sort of view soap as a necessity, not a luxury. Uh, I hope you feel the same.

Undereye concealer. My mom bequeathed me her thick, luxurious hair, but she also gave me hellacious undereye circles that make me look three days removed from sleep if I don’t cover them up.

I voted moisturizer, and I am including non-tinted lip balm in that category. I absolutely, positively CANNOT go anywhere without at least one tube/tub of “lip stuff”.

Concealer here too – both undereyes and for the odd blemish. I’m talking “for public consumption” cannot live without here – if we’re just talking relaxing at home then moisturiser all the way!

Hair product. Especially with length, my curls need some encouragement to not fall into the Willie-Nelson-with-bedhead realm.
However, I put my hair in a different category than my face, so for face I would have to say I need my mascara. Powder is a close second, but if I can do nothing else and I need to feel a little more put together, I will tidy my hair and put on mascara.
