Tuesday Beauty Poll!

By Glinda

When I last posted a poll, I was in a big rush for some reason, and didn’t actually look at the post until the next day.  And then what do I find?  A freaking typo in the poll question iteself, which is a pain to undo as it resets the voting to zero.  And I wasn’t sure what would make you more annoyed, a typo or having to re-cast your vote.  So, I left it.

However, it should have read “What was YOUR biggest beauty blunder?” instead of the oh-so-classy, “What was YOU biggest beauty blunder?”

We had answers covering the spectrum, with mismatched foundation being the blunder of choice with 23% of the vote.  Discovering raccoon eyes that weren’t there on purpose came in next at 14%, and overzealous use of blush/bronzer was third with 7%.  And, all the comments made me crack up.  Seriously, you guys crack me up all the time.  My husband is always wondering what I’m cackling at while I”m on the computer, and most of the time, it is the witty repartee of the Manolosphere commentariat.

Today’s poll question is ripped straight out of the headlines of Sephora’s Facebook page.

  1. Klee Says:

I do a coral face to fake a tan, the eyeshadow has been put away, the blush is still in, but no bronzer, the coral lip is sheerer, but still in rotation, cuz it’s a great shade for the pale.

  2. Whitney Says:

Since I’m the same shade year ’round nothing much rotates in terms of foundation and the like. I get to wear more earthy colors on eyes, lips and nails, though, simply because of cold-weather clothing choices (tend not to have a lot of lemon-yellow sweater dresses).
