Tuesday Beauty Poll

My last poll about spring beauty trends had 26% of you willing to give red lips a go, however I’m guessing that probably isn’t much of a departure for most of you. 21% said sheer rose lips sounded appealing, and the cat eye came in at 19%. 15% were game for the super smoky eye, but I’m a bit timid for that one. Also, I’m afraid of looking like a raccoon. And not a cute one.
Today I’m curious as to your sunscreen habits.

Most days, my face is the only part of my body that’s exposed, other than my hands. And I work in an office so unless I take a walk during lunch, I only see the sun walking to my car at the end of the day. Of course, if I’m going to be outside gardening or attending one of our many festivals during the summer, I sunscreen all exposed parts of my body.

with light hair, skin and eyes living in florida, I wear spf 50 on all exposed parts. Learned that the hard way, after a skin tumor on my nose was found.

I don’t go out in the sun at all, so I don’t bother with sunscreen aside from wearing a tinted moisturizer that contains SPF. Back in the day when I had more sun exposure, all exposed parts got slathered with sunscreen.

I want to wear sunscreen at least on my face every day I really, really do. But to manage that I have to not break out in a painful rash when I put the sunscreen on. Or break out in massive zits a couple days later. So I’m considering floppy hats or a parasol this year. I’ll look a bit précieuse (god I love getting to use that term) but oh well.
