Upbraided
By GlindaYeah, I was just looking for something different in the title. I know it doesn’t really fit, but do you know how hard it is to come up with scintillating titles every day?
So we’ve got some braiding going on in the celebrity circles, and a low side-braid at that. No Pippi Longstockings around here.
I love braiding, and I wish it was done more often. But unfortunately, to do it right, it usually has to be done by someone else. I can French braid, but when I do it on myself it gets turned inside out and is mostly lopsided. And most of us don’t have a stylist able to come to our house and make a perfect fishtail, with possibly fake hair.

I also love braids. Unfortunately my hair is so thick that it’s hard to do them well, unless my hair is CRAZY long. (That one braid of Nicole’s? That’s how thick each of mine are when I do two braids.

I love braids too, but I’ve got very thick hair too, and an unfortuate tendency to look like Eva Braun or an extra from The Sound of Music when I wear them

I have not had hair long enough to braid for the last 25 years, yet when I recently had to wear a wig for a costume thing and decided to braid the hair, I found that my hands had not forgotten how to do that French braid that I had practiced so hard and long to do when I was in my late teens. Not enough of an incentive to grow my hair though….
