Tuesday Beauty Poll

Oh, I’m so proud of you, 50% knew exactly what a BB cream is! Not that I’m disappointed in the other 50%, because I was recently one of you. A BB cream stands for “Blemish Balm” or “Blemish Base” or a couple of other similar alliterative terms. You can go here to read more details, but many BB creams have soothing properties, along with light coverage.
Today, I’ve got a question that might be a toughie. And, know that with this question, money (or lack thereof) is not an issue. A total hypothetical, if you will.

If it’s that green dress in the large photo, definitely Clothes! But I voted shoes, because it’s the one thing I can’t make for myself. (yes, I know I *could*. Perhaps I should have said “it’s the one thing I *won’t* make for myself”)

I have found myself spending less and less on clothes and makeup and more on shoes. A few classic style dresses and natural makeup with a pair of fab shoes is all I need. I recently re-soled a pair of Prada pumps from 1998 that are still beautiful. Can’t say that about a single outfit I own.

A fascinating question which gave me pause… I had to go with shoes, though, because I can sew and get by without make-up, but I have no clue on how to make footwear.
